An exploration on a single material and its interaction with light. Polypropylene and a laser cutter results in a lamp, simple in form and simple in function.
So too is its manufacture and assembly, it can be shipped in an A3 envelope and assembled within 10 minutes by the most novice of user.
The first model is shown, Mk2 is set to be ready some time in 2015.
Process: Experimentation with material, light and construction techniques. The aim being to create a sophisticated piece that was extremely cost efficient in manufacture and freight, and very easy to assembly.
